KTN SUPPLY FIRE PUMP FOR LEGO’S MANUFACTURING FACTORY IN VIETNAM
Viet Nam is selected as a new destination for Lego Group to construc a 6th manufacturing factory in global and 2nd factory in Asia at Vietnam – Singapore (VSIP III) Industrial Park in Binh Duong Provine
LEGO’s manufactoring factory is constructed on a 44 hectares land with the amount of investment about 1,13 billion USD in total, which is the largest investment project from a Danish company in Viet Nam and the first factory of LEGO Group have a carbon neutral factory desgin. The factory is planned to go into production in 2024 and will create 4,000 jobs in the next 15 years.
Manufacturing factory of LEGO Group is one of the important project in Binh Duong in particular and Viet Nam in general.
With the manufacturing scale, worker safety, and the investor’s property in consideration, the LEGO Group chose a fire pump manufacturer from around the world and a fire pump supplier in Vietnam. PENTAIR FAIRBANKS NIJHUIS & KTN were chosen to provide a fire pump for the LEGO factory project due to their experiences and abilities as a producer of fire pumps for over 100 years and as a supplier of fire pumps in Vietnam for over 22 years.
Fire pump system is with capacity Q = 3000 GPM, pressure H = 160 PSI, including 01 electric fire pump with 450 Hp motor rated output and 01 Diesel using Clarke UK with 490Hp engine rated output and 01 jockey pump
All KTN pump provided to the LEGO Group’s manufacturing project in Vietnam are manufactured, assembled, and completed at the PENTAIR FAIRBANKS NIJHUS Netherlands.
